Reservation Rewards Unauthorized charges from checking account Shelton, Connecticut Internet

I noticed charges of $12/month coming out of my checking ever since I bought from Diapers.com. I called the phone number 800-732-7031 that was listed in my account & they said that I signed up for an online $10 coupon which authorized the membership for $12/month. I called Diapers.com to notify them that this had occured & while they are not affiliated with RR, they didnt seem concerned. I did a search on the RR company & this is what it says on their website:

RESERVATION REWARDS is the description that is displayed on your credit or debit card statement for your Reservation Rewards membership fee.

How did you join and why are you getting billed?

Reservation Rewards is marketed through more than 140 partner Web sites. You or someone authorized to use your credit or debit card joined after making an online transaction.

They said they would cancel & credit my checking account, but I am disturbed at how easy it was for them to get my account number from the Diapers.com website. PS. I never did get any $10 coupon that they supposably owed me for the membership.
