Reservation*rewards ripoff Shelton Connecticut

10/26/2005 at 10.pm( while placing a order to carol wright gifts, when the order stated, your order is complete, there was continue button , at that point, I hit continue, a screen came up to get a 10.00 dollar rebate, I hit continue, and rememebered that i wonted to order more but the screen went blank, and it would not let me order more..

so the next morning 10/27/2005 I called carol wright gifts, while making my order, i asked the lady when will i recieve my rebate.. she said that was a pop up and was a differant company, and that i had become a member of that company, just by hitting the rebate button, and the amount would be taken out of my bank account..

i told her no way, i called my bank and had to cancel my credit card at once.. the bank said they had, had problems from this company before..

well to say the least , this has caused me to have to call all my creditors, and change my card number.. even my cell phone.. this has caused a mess ..

i called the company.. that was going to take my money, and the bank stoped them.. when i called a lady came on, and i told her that this was wronge to do people like this she laughed.. i told her laugh, i may get the last laugh young lady.. and i hung up.. to say the least i have a good bank.. that stopped this at once, however, how many more will find there money gone from there bank and did not give permission to take it..

i have high blood presser, and anxity .. shame on this company. called ( reservation*rewards ) i would have never known it was going to be taken out of my bank account if i had not asked about the rebate...

i hope this company is caught doing this .. this is wronge..
