residential relief foundation I paid this company $1600 to do a loan modification for me Internet

I responded to a letter I reveived in the mailed  about loan modification. I had already checked with my mortgage company and they had denied me. I responed to the letter I received and they told me they could help me.I was told they could help me. I was drafted from my checking acct approx $1600 over three month period . I sent the paper work of to the mortgage company And got no results. I called the mortgage company and they told me I wasted my money. They said I should reapply again through them, and I did they gave me the modifation without a charge. I don't know where my money went, and I want it bACK.
