Resort Vacations International Clint Brown They wanted to rent out my timeshare, with cash up front. Orlando Florida

I received a phone call 11/5/17 from a Richard Rey, who transferred me to a Clint Brown. He said he was from the Resort Vacations International company and knew that I wanted to rent out my property in Aruba. He made some sort of refernece to RCI.

In a nutshell, he said that if I paid 1200 to 1400 dollars up front (for a 4 week rental) of my property I would receive 5600.00 dollars. I told him that I am intersted in renting out my property, but I did not have the money up front. He then said that I can rent it out for 1 week (for 300.00). I called the next day to understand why there was a fee of 300.00. He said it would cover the rental cost(s), guest passes, exchange fee(s) and so on.

I asked for the name of the business and checked online. There I noted the Ripoff report site and that someone was also ripped off.  Too good to be true. Thank goodness I did not follow through. Please be warned.
