Called to check stock on an item I needed immediately. Put on hold twice then told they had it or I placed an order with next day shipping. Then called the following day for the tracking when all the problems started. First they could not find it, then they needed to call me back, then nothing. Finally I called the manufacturer and they told me they were asked to drop ship the item but turns out they didn't have it. When I called back was again told they were still checking on the problem meanwhile I already knew they never shipped it. When I told them this Michael got on the phone to tell me I had no business calling Tomar and basically scolded me when all I wanted was something they promised me i'd have next day. I ended up ordering from some place else. This guy stocks nothing so if you want something fast go elsewhere.

John did call, inquiring about some Tomar surface mount LED lights and we were temporarily out of stock as sometimes happens. However, we called Tomar and our rep assured us that they could ship these specific lights with 48 hours. Unfortunately, Tomar did not ship the lights as they had stated. We knew John was anxious to receive the lights and when we called Tomar, they informed us that they were not going to be able to ship the lights for several days. John did call Tomar and the customer service rep informed him that they could not discuss the order with anyone other than the distributor (us). When I spoke with John afterward, I just explained the situation and that his options were either to wait for Tomar to ship the lights or we would refund his purchase so he could go elsewhere. He chose the latter. With regard to the claim that we "stock nothing", this could not be further from the truth. Our BizRate ratings and our customer testimonials stand on their own.
