ResumeProWriters- A Nightmare Experience What a total waste of time and money!!! Encino California

ResumeProWriters is a SCAM and should be out of business. I sent a good resume to them to update for a specific position with the job description attached. The revision was $115 and I received that it would take 7-10 days for the 1st. draft. I called the company and talked to Grace Kelly, which I suspect is her Americanized name. I went over in detail what I wanted for an executive position resume and she stated that they would assign a very experienced writer for the job.

After not hearing from them for over a week, I called again, only to be told that they are #1 and very busy. Ms. Kelly referred me to Amanda Stevens, my writer, who after 2 attempts I was able to contact. Her broken English makes me suspect that this is also an Americanized name. The resume I got sent 2 days latter was a good format but totally inept in terms of spelling, punctuation, syntax,capitalization etc. I redid it myself almost in it's entirety and asked them to make the changes and refine what I had written. Ha Ha Ha! I also called Grace Kelly and complained that I had to in effect do Amanda's work for her. She stated that she would have their senior writer review the 2nd. draft before it was sent back to me. If what was sent back to me was reviewed bt their senior writer, than the organization is totally inept and inarticulate.

What I got back was a rewritten mess that I spent an additional 4 hours to correct. I complained to Grace Kelly and she stated that I hd unlimited revisions. Unfortunately, I was doing the work not them!! I stated that I wanted a refund and that I read some very negative reports concerning them on the internet Grace Kelly said that they are # 1 and it is their competition writing these things because they are jealous.

After going over the 2nd draft in detail with Grace Kelly after she convinced me to give them another chance, I got an e-mail on Friday afternoon with the third revision. It was unacceptable in that titles of previous positions were changed and the changes that I requested to be changed remained. I immediately called to complain and I was told that Grace and Amanda went home for the weekend and would not respond to me until Monday afternoon. I said that the deadline for applying was next week and I was given the same run around. When I asked if I could get a refund, the operator, Paris Hilton (just kidding) told me that Grace Kelly would have to talk to me and decide to do so. I asked for Grace's superior or manager and I eas told that I had to talk to Grace first. I wrote an e-mail requesting a refund of $115 and copied my lawyer. I also spent 4.5 hours on Saturday to Fix the mess that I found myself in. What a waste of time and effort. The only good that came out of this situation was that I took the time to rewrite and refine my resume to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, it was my work that satisfied me.

Also, take the time to read the rebuttals on this web site and determine if the English they use is professional. I suspect that ResumeProWriters is run by foreign nationals at best, who struggle to effectively communicate with most of the American public. They are certainly not qualified to write meaningful and important documents that may or may not get a person an interview.
