Resurgent Capital Services LP "Collection Notice" Credit Counseling Agency Information Needed Greenville South Carolina

I recently received a collection notice from this agency saying they have purchased my account from my previous creditor. On the notice i received there was a balance owed and a account number. First of all I do not have any credit cards with the number listed or have i ever had a credit card with the numbers listed. And the amount was a throw off also because I know my balances and there is not one single account i have with that paticular balance.

I tried to call the company to find out what account they recently purchased, because on the notice it was not given, and of course i kept on getting a message saying all operators are busy please stand by. I hope more people who receive this notice do a little research about this company before they give them any information. Im glad I did because i did see complaints about this company in the past. Be Careful!!!
