I have never received any bill in any way ,shape or form from the original creditor nor have I received any collection notice from such collection agaency concerning their attempts to collect a debt.As a matter of fact,I do not owe the original creditor the outstanding amount of $1,036 because I never had an account with them at all to begin with.
Around February 14,2012, I was notified by Experian that the report will continue on record until March 2013,which was absolutely ridiculous.I then took it upon myself to contact the source of such derogatory information ,Resurgent Capital Services, on the aadvice of Experian at (864) 248-8700.I provided different representatives on numerous occasions with my personal identifying information such as my full name,Social Security number as well as my address along with the Partial Account Number which appears on my credit report and on these numerous occasions,I was clearly informed that my information does not appear in their database and therefore my account does not exist at all.I was then informed by such representatives to fax over a copy of my credit report with my personal identifying information to (866)467-0956 and (866)467-0163 on February 14,2012 and on February 21,2012 ,which I did ,under the impression that they will duly rectify such error with the credit bureau within 8 business days but so far,such Potentially Negative item appears on my credit report and there is absolutely no way of getting such item resolved or squared away because the information that RCS reported to the credit bureaus does not exist in their database.
