The story is all too familiar. It is the same guy as in the previous report. He has aged a bit (saw a photo in one of the earlier reports).

I was driving in Stockholm on the 7th of May 2007 and he pulled me over. He was driving a nice rental car, and claimed that he had been to a fashion convention in the Sheraton hotel. He flashed some ID, was very polite and asked if I were interested in some Armanis. He had some bonuses, that he had received from his boss.

He really looked the part. Sharply dressed etc. The warning bells were ringing, but who listens when there is a chance to make a good deal? He was in a hurry to the airport...the whole story. The stuff actually looked quiet ok, so I thought I could always give it away.

When we had made the transaction he said he had to be honest with me. He had been to the casino the night before and lost 1000s of Euros. He said he would sell me his whole collection in the car (the trunk was packed with suits) and file a theft report with the police. Now the warning bells were really ringing. I told him I couldn't get more money out of the ATM and he started to get a bit aggressive. I interpreted it as he was desperate, but I guess he just played his part very well. I told him I could only get more money from some friends and that this would take a couple of hours. I then walked away promising to call him.

At closer inspection his business card is not of the best quality. He was very well dressed. Played his part extremely well. Still I feel like a real sucker. The jackets he sold me seems ok quality wise, but now I just feel stupid every time I look at them.
