An initial seminar was held in Scottsdale AZ to tell people about the great seminar which was available, the cost would only be $ 500. for the attendee and a guest. The Rich Dad seminar was held in Phoenix, on october 24, 25 & 26. There was one speaker and 3 alleged successful business people who observed and took out each couple during the talk to try and find out if they had the means to go on to their excelled classes which ranged from $20,000 to $50,000. The attendees were shown how you could max out your credit cards to come up with the down payment on the first property and flip it before the first card's payment was due, then max out the next card, just in case you need to pay off the first card. Always intimating how taxes could avoid being paid. All parties present were told they could not take photos, record and part of the Seminar, and if another attendee of the program offered you their business card, they were to be reported immediately to on of the Mentors in the room. The seminar consisted of how much money the Speaker had made, vaguely how he did it, and unless you were a Rich person, you were a "loser" or as they stated, a Poor person. A game with no rules, and 2 to 3 exercises on giving Sales prices on properties, how to purchase them through means of deceit, and wanting to know how much money you could make. No instruction, and everyone was pretty much wrong. The second day, after lunch, there was nothing but explaining that you would not learn anything from this "class", as you needed to spend the large amounts of money to get their software, the use of a Mentor, and methods to find and purchase properties. The Seminar was misleading, expensive, fraudulent. the speaker said he started out in an office job, then he said he was a bank manager, then he said he was working at marketing a boutique. All lies, did not even go back for the 3rd day. On the 3rd day, those who were paying the $20,000 to $50,000. were being asked to attend a VIP lunch with the speaker. The attendees were talked down to the entire time. Just lost $500. through a SCAM called Rich Dad.
