I believe Upscale Bath (Colorado), Rickenbacker Collection Svc, and the Shippers in my case were all involved in a scheme to take my money from the beginning. A week after the sale Upscale Bath filed a nonpayment dispute against me on Ebay, even though I told them the check was indeed in the mail, it was holiday time so mail was a little slow (they only waited a week) they received a listing credit from Ebay and instructed me to cancel my check. I paid $20 to have my check cancelled on Dec 3rd. On Dec. 8th Upscale Bath attempted to Cash my check but my bank returned it to them. I was frustrated and concerned about the sale so I cancelled the order. On Nov. 12 a shipping company called me on my cell phone to ask about delivery instructions, and I told the driver I had cancelled the order and the driver said "ok". It read right on Upscale Bath's listing that shipment is not done until 3 days after payment clears. Knowing our dispute and having held the tub for nearly a month already for "non-pmt" why would they send it? Because they want to bill me $2500 for bogus shipping charges that's why. For all I know there never was a tub, not long after my complaint and by the way Ebay took my side on this matter and removed the negative mark from my profile; Upscale Bath started getting numerous complaints to their business dealings on Ebay and for these reasons are no longer registered users of Ebay. The original sale price of the tub was $1035. Shipping was $499. Rickenbackers are claiming judgement of $2511.37 Which is $1000 over and I don't even have the merchandise! I have reported Rickenbacker to the California BBB and I am investigating the shipper logs as I write this note to you. So far the shipper has been very vague and are pawning me off to different people who can't seem to give me an answer to any of my questions.

Sorry Date Typo

AUTHOR: Josie1989 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 16, 2008

I apologize, the date the shipping company called me was Dec. 12 not Nov. 12. The auction closed on Nov 14. The bath Co. didn't give me an address to send pmt to until Nov. 17. On the 21st they filed a non-pmt dispute against me on ebay. *note I do live a few states away, they didn't allow enough time for the check to get there.
