I recently received my credit score, which I check on a monthly basis, and noticed a huge drop in score of more than 100 points! To find out what the problem might be, I went and ordered my free credit reports available from annualcreditreport.com. I was able to get a report from Experian and Equifax.
Experian was showing a negative account that was sent to a collection agency, RJM ACQ LLC. in the amount of $565. The original account was supposedly opened at an M&T Bank in 2010. I have never had an account with M&T Bank, so I have no idea how I have an amount owed. I am looking for any advice someone can provide to have this account removed my credit report.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Document everything, and then sue everyone involved!

These collection tactics used by most collection agencies are fraudulent, and they need to be sued every time.
You have suffered "real" damages as a result of that phoney reporting.
You need to hold them accountable.
Under the FCRA you are entitled to a "complete and accurate" report.
Obviously the "accurate" part has been violated here.
Get paid.
