RMA Legal Network WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN AND NOT ASSIST WITH A LOAN MODIFICATION! Holbrook, New York

I am one of many Americans in financial turmoil and have a mortgage that has fallen behind. I was contacted by American Mitigation Company who said they have lawyers who can work with my lender and I signed thinking this was a good thing.  My case was then referred to RMA Legal Network.  I was then assigned a modification specialist and  for three months he has had my paperwork, repeatedly asked me to fax over paperwork that has been faxed and have done nothing except send to my lender a release that states it was okay for them to speak with the bank on my behalf. 

Trying to get in touch with anybody from American Mitigation which is based out of Californa or from RMA Legal Network is a nightmare!  About the only way to reach anybody from RMA is via email and even that is a joke. When you do ask questions to RMA the answers you receive are very vague. American Mitigation does not return phone calls.  They have collected $1978 for a supposed loan modification that they have done nothing with and they have had all the necessary paperwork for 3 months. 

I put a stop payment on the last payment.  Consumers beware these so called modification companies will take your money and leave you high and dry.  They can not do anymore for you than you can do yourself.  The lenders have guidelines to follow and modification companies can not change this and you can get your paperwork to your lender in a more timely and efficient manner and speak to someone at your bank.  It is a huge scam and once you've paid the money you have simply lost the money.  They will not refund the money.  RMA Legal Network is a farce!
