Robert Half Lots of listings, no real jobs. Springfield Massachusetts

This company lists multiple jobs on a daily basis, but they do not really exist, or they are the same one job over and over.  I have applied to dozens, get calls, they are "going to present me," and then I never hear anything back.  Or they ask me to come into the office to speak with them, then send in an OfficeTeam person to speak with me too, "to broaden my opportunities."  Nothing is ever mentioned about the specific job I applied to again. 

Then they start calling me for $10 and $11 an hour jobs with hour long commutes in data entry type positions.  I have a four year degree in Accounting, with a specialization in Finance, a minor in Health Care Administration, and a GPA of 3.72.  I am seeking experience, ergo the temporary employment route.  I could easily get secretarial jobs that paid much more than that on my own. 

If you call directly about a position, the person you need to speak to is always "in a meeting" and will call you back.  Lo and behold, IF they call you back, that position has already been filled, but they might have something else (which is inevitably a low paying position on the office temp side). 

I have wasted more time and energy on this company than I care to admit.  Unfortunately, they are not the only temp agency that does the bait and switch, and attempts to maintain a database in order to get the listing for a temporary job with a company.  They all do this, but some are better about calling you back, following up with you, giving you feedback, and working on your behalf to get a position than this company.
