Rockwell Financial is currently under investigation by the California State Labor Commissioner for failing to pay a former employee their final pay and expenses prior to departure.  Current owner and President, Brett Davis apparently was a no-show at the first hearing, thus admitting the failure to pay.  Mr. Davis and Rockwell Financial have been to the Labor Board 6 times in the past 2 years for non- payment of commissions owed of prior employees and wages earned.  This apparently is a customary procedure for Rockwell Financial(and Davis) to help them gain commissions from loan officers who worked hard and the Broker then takes the commission for himself at the end and fires the employee prior to the loan funding.  This practice was commonplace at Rockwell (and by Davis).

Davis commonly goes out and recruits unsuspecting new agents to the business and appears to "train" them in the mortgage industry.  He then takes their money for leads that has been sold multiple times and pretends to "help them out".  He uses his DOC/CFL license to train unlicensed employees and "work from home" programs to sell mortgages and then retains the commission and fires the employee. 

Someone needs to stop this practice and this company.  His new VP, Dora Atkinson also is involved and tries to maintain the relationships with the new employees, but she is even WORSE than Mr. Davis.  She has been known to take money from employees, is involved in an identity theft case being investigated by the Sheriff.  I would not apply and give her your SSN.  You won't know what is being done with it.
