Rose Fence They have not refunded my $900 deposit 6 weeks after I cancelled job because of 2.5 month wait. Freeport New York

On June 11th I left a deposit of $900 with Rose Fence using my credit card, 1/3 of a $2700 fence install job.  I was told I had to leave a deposit before they set a date of install.  I thought that strange, but I did it anyway.  Then they gave me a date of 8/28, 2.5 months later!!  

After discussing it with my wife and my neighbor I decided to cancel the job as my neighbor found another company to install the fence the following week for the same price.  Only a few days after leaving the deposit I called Rose Fence to cancel and get my deposit back.  No problem they said.  I felt relieved they didn't give me a hard time about it.

Then I found out why:  They never refunded my deposit.  It's been 6 weeks since I made the call to cancel!!!  What a racket!!!  Think of the money they make just sitting on dozens of deposits like mine!  

Total dirtbags.
