Royal Camer & Video INC. ripoff business from hell credit card fraud! Brooklyn New York

I called to check if the price on their web site for the Nikon D100, which was $1359.00, was for a camera with a USA Warranty.

Bob, the sales person told me it did.
I decided to order the camera because it was a great price. After Bob took my credit card information, he started with the obnoxious sales pressure. He told me I would have to buy the multi battery Pack and charger for $599.00.

I asked why the camerea did not already include a battery and charger and he said "It just does'nt".
I told him I would all him back after I gave Nikon a call. He tried to keep me on the phone to listen to him tell me what else I would have to buy from him, but I hung up to contact Nikon. I found that the D 100 came with a rechargable battery and charger.

I called Bob back to cancell and he rang up another salesman named Ronnie, who was equally as obnoxious. He kept lowering the price each time I said that I wanted to cancell my order.

He told me I would have to call customer service the following day to cancell, which I later found did not open until 11:00 AM.

When I finally got through to cusomer service they again put me on hold and handed me over to yet another annoying salesman.

I found in this conversation that the D100 with USA warranty sold for $1750.00. (Bob had lied again)! He told me that I would not be able to find this Camera in stock anywhere. I told him I would rather go without it then buy it from them. I said I was not going to argue with him about it I WANTED TO CANCELL!!!
He then relented.

Two days later I found a charge on my credit card for $2247.00 to Royal Camera and Video INC. The last offer they gave me was for $1950.00.

Because of Memorial Day I cannot reach their Customer Service until Tuesday.

So goes the relationship with "Royal Pain Camera & Video Inc.

So buyer beware!
