My now husband and I attended a seminar back in early 1999 during our wedding planning days. Albeit we were naive and young and bought the whole sales pitch and purchased the product. I do not have too much to say about the product other than it's pots and pans and either you can cook or can't. As to the health concerns-something is going to kill you regardless and if it happens to be your cookware-hey it could have been much worse.

The issue I have with Royal Prestige is that my husband and I paid off our account back in 2002 and have not thought of Royal Prestige since, until this past week. When recently applying for a home equity loan our bank said we were approved pending that we did not have this outstanding, extremely past due debt owed to a Royal Prestige.

My husband and I were obviously confused and assured our loan officer that this was some error and we would get a letter stating that the debt had been paid. In contacting the Wisconsin, Royal Prestige offices were told that we had not made a payment since 2000,we owed$1400.00, our account was passed to collections and we would need to contact our original salesman, at the Tenessee office.

Upon getting this information we immediately called and have continuted to call and call and call this office and have never gotten further than the receptionist. We have bank statements and copies of checks that were made to Royal Prestige and cashed by Royal Prestige since the year 2000 and even have statements from Royal Prestige themselves beyond the 2000 date that has a balance due of considerbly less that $1400.00. Our loan approval is pending that this is not an outstanding debt and we cannot even get anyone to call us back. My husband and I are obviously extremely frustrated and the Wisconsin office will not give us any other information other than to contact the TN office.

We are seriously considering taking legal action as this has been affecting our credit for sometime and we have never been notified of this outstanding debt and have proof that we paid it off. I will tell anyone who I even hear mentioning that they may consider purchasing this product that this company is not to be trusted and I will never purchase another product made by them.
