I bought a auto from RPM in 1998 and had tree transmissions from them ( if they realy put one in at all or maybe a bandaid) and on the final one the engine had taken a toll so of course it's time was up I called the company several times and they wanted me to have it towed to them and get a new car or they would let me out of my buy here pay here contract. WELL! now it has fallen on my credit report of which they want more for the car from the original priceI was never informed of a court date to fight this matter, what is wrong with this picture now almost 9 years later I am trying to fight this matter so I can buy a house, I have a good pay record on my credit report but this is stopping me. I have contacted them and they say it is out of their hands, GO FIGURE!.

The I would think that the first problem was allowing them to put in a tree transmission.  They are known to fail!!

There could only be one reason that this has remained on your credit report for 9 years (7 years is the max).  That would be because at some point you gave them money!  Every time you give them money, you start the clock again.
