Rubin & Rothman LLC Obtained My Social Security Number: Continuously Adding Inquiries to My Experian Reports Fraudulently Islandia New York

I have read alot of the negative feedback on Rubin Rothman LLC.  I wasn't aware they were a collection agency.  I was under the assumption they were a law firm.  You see, I've never done business with them.  A management company that I was renting from in 2006 for a short period of time before I went to housing court to be terminate my lease due to an apartment that was not renovated properly before I moved in.  Either way, I took this management company to housing court and won.

The management company clearly was not happy.  4 years later they tried to garnish wages from my salary unsuccessfully. Then once they realized that they were on a losing end, they contacted Rubin Rothman LLC.  Through this management company, they obtained my social security number and twice in 2010, this company applied inquiries to my report, without my permission.  I had to place a security freeze on my report because this company is relentless in damaging my credit report.

Rubin Rothman LLC are crooks that deal with crooks. To all who are reading, contact all 3 credit bureaus and place security freezes on your reports, this way, even if your case was handled legally in the court system, these scoundrels will not be able to use your social security number to place inquiries on your report, without your written consent. Once again, I've never done business with this company. 

To avoid this madness when applying for credit, not to mention lowering your credit score, it will cost $5 to place a security freeze on your report.  When you need to lift your security freeze when applying for credit, you will go online, and fill in the codes that the credit bureaus send you via mail to lift the freeze, temporarily or permanently.

This advice is given because Rubin Rothman LLC are crooks and will clearly do anything to make money. Kind of reminds me of the housing crisis with the subprime loans.  Consumers....protect yourself.  If a collection agency is harassing you and adding inquiries to any of your reports, request to place security freezes on your report.
