Small claims court.

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

Take them to small claims court. The filing fee is minimal and you don't need a lawyer. Just make sure you have all pertinent documentation to prove your case.

How much are you owed?

AUTHOR: Peter - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 30, 2006

How much money are you owed by this company? "Under a grand" does not tell us much ... $900? $2? How much exactly?

Did you have a signed written agreement detailing the payment amount, terms, etc. prior to doing the work?
