My passport had expired which we noticed 5days before our trip. I called Rush my passport on Wednesday april 1, 2008. I was to travel on the april 5th with my family. They sent me a shipping label with a shipping label and what I needed to do. They even assign a specialist to work with you who only helps you fill out the paperwork but is no where to be found when you are checking on the status of the report.
THey received my old passport and papers on april 2, 2009 at 8:43 am. They then submitted my papers and Sent me Gaurantee that I would have my passport back by my trip on april 5th.
I had even emailed my so called specialist on thursday that if she did not think i would have it back in time that i would go to the nearest national passport center on friday. No response. Friday came and went and nothing. Saturday came and went nothing. They do not even call to tell you that you will not get it. I had to locate my so called specialist with a internet search at her house on saturday and all she had to say was that she did not see my number and did not think I would get it.
To make things even worse when i went to the natioanl passport center in NYC they told me that my passport was ready on friday April 4th but was never picked up by rush my passport.
My wife and young children had to leave without me and I am typing this now at my house. I have a flight out tomorrow but between losing the vacation time, tickets that had to be repurchased this company has cost me a lot of money and time.
The whole company is a joke. DO not risk your vacation with them
