I'm really shocked to read the negative comments posted on this site about Saddlerock Stable owners Barbara and Gary Linstedt. I don't typically post anything to these types of sites but in this case I feel that I should as it may be helpful to some people out there who are considering doing business with Gary or Barbara Lindstedt in some capacity.

I have been renting a house from the Linstedts for nearly a year now. Before renting, I did a search on the Internet because I was interested in learning more about such a beautiful place as it seemed almost too good to be true. I read the negative comments and was very shocked, but decided to trust my own instincts that were telling me that Barbara and Gary are great people.

I'm please to report that I have found the Lindstedts to be WONDERFUL landlords and people in general. They have been absolutely nothing but kind, understanding, compassionate, and professional people. I live right on their property, very close to their house, and it is an absolute pleasure to know them and their family, and to be in their 'back yard' :). Although I do not board horses up at the stable, I am up there quite frequently with my young daughter, and I can see that the horses are VERY well taken care of and the atmosphere of riders and trainers is great. I would - without exception - recommend Saddlerock to anybody who is looking to board horses, take lessons, etc. I've never seen Barbara or Gary get upset, irate, or act in any capacity like I see described by the disgruntled ex-tenants/boarders. I hope that everybody who reads those comments will understand that there are two sides to every story, but I for one am VERY PLEASED with the care I have received from these people. :) Saddlerock ROCKS!

Barbara if you would read the other report, we have a link to photos of the horses illegally locked up, we have stated that we have sworn affadavits, we have reports from animal control about your abuse of our horses and previous horses at your barn, I have emails that prove that you have lied numerous times about this situation, the Better Business Bereau has sided against you.

Go to their website and search for Saddle Rock Stables if you don't beleive me. I have a letter from the office of the Washington State Attorney general stating that you did not respond to their inquiry and if they receive one more complaint about you, the state will investigate and quite possibly press charges against you Also, I seriously doubt that somebody could ever make up such an elaborate lie. You and I both know Caroline and I are telling the truth and you also know better than to call us kids. Just because you are old doesn't mean everybody that is younger than you is a kid. Also, is Caroline's father a kid? He is a very important government official in Washington State who was present for this whole situation and even tried to negotiate with Barbara and she persisted to threaten him and disrespect him without warrant! He is ready to testify his case in court against you Barbara and unfortunately for you, he is very very very well known and respected in the Washington State government (for obvious reasons).

Your former tenants have witnessed and experienced your dishonesty, cruelty, and inhumane behavior and it sounds like the judge in your anti-harrassment case didn't believe you one bit. Below are the links for the findings of the BBB against you and to photos of Darby locked up.

Just for your own reference Barbara, your boarding aggreement states that when you change the price of the board, you must give a 30 day notice and you did not. Also, we in no way tried to "steal" OUR horses from you in the middle of the night but instead, took photographs of the horses illegaly padlocked without food. It makes me sick that you can do things as cruel as this! You are setting a horrible example for your daughters and I can only pray that they do not turn out like you.

This report from Caroline and Max is a false report. They tried to get away without paying for their horse board and bounced checks then stealing the horses in the middle of the night. They were unable to get away with this due to a signed boarding agreement. They have made up all of these lies and threatened to damage my reputation.

They have turned me into every agency: BBB, Animal Control, Humane Society, Attorney Generals Office and slammed me all over the Internet. These are very unhappy kids with a grudge! These are kids that I went out of my way to help when she was unable to ride due to an injury. I put their horses in a less expensive pasture to help them out for months when I knew they were having trouble paying.

If these accusations actually happened or were true I would NOT be in business. I have an excellent barn that has grown rapidly in 4 years and is always full. We have excellent trainers and stable workers who care for the horses. Each and every agency has found the stable innocent of all charges and actually with a 10 out of 10 rating as one of the best stables in the area. Sorry Caroline and Max but these lies speak for themselves. They are too far out there for anyone to believe!

Maddy... before you put your nose into other people's business that is way beyond your level of comprehension, you should think about the fact that you are still 16 years of age and have never payed a bill in your life. You are still living under your parents roof and everything is being handed to you on a silver platter by them. You have never had to deal with Barbara financially so you could never understand the nature of this situation. I highly suggest you not further make yourself look stupid by posting rebuttals to a case you have no comprehension of. Also, your credibility isn't so good, being that you are a minor that has not even graduated high school. Please view the rebuttal to your rebuttal on the other report about Saddle Rock. It will educate you about this situation which hopefully, will make you think twice before you do something so naive like posting your previous rebuttals.

Due to how ridiculous and false the information is in this complaint I refuse to make comment on what Caroline has said. Instead, I just wish to say that I have never felt more comfortable with leaving my horses any where than I do leaving them at Saddlerock. Barbara Linstead is the most understanding women I have ever seen and runs Saddlerock with amazing people skills. She knows what amazing customer service is. I know first hand that much of what was said is completely false. I am frankly ashamed that due to Caroline and her boyfriend Max's inability to communicate with Barbara who is very easy to communicate with they would wrongly slander Barbara and the business of Saddlerock.

I am an attorney who resides in the Redmond area and from what I see, you have an excellent case against this company! This woman you speak of has committed many criminal offenses and should not be running a business such as this or any business for that matter! She should have her business lisence revoked and be sitting in a jail cell right now!

With all of the evidence and witnesses you have, any judge would be more than happy to put this woman out of business! Also, send a complaint to the office of the State Attorney General and get in touch with as many animal rights groups possible. They both will help you a great deal in a situation such as this!

This woman is a threat to everybody she does business and she should be put out of business! I only hope the best for you during this horrible situation! Good luck!

Call the police and the local Humane Society or SPCA (whichever one does cruelty investigations). They should be able to help you get your horses back and make sure that this woman never keeps animals in cruel conditions again.
