Saddle Rock Stables DISHONEST OWNER, EXTORTION, LARSONY, ANIMAL CRUELTY, MALICIOUS THREATS, VEHICULAR ASSAULT, UNSAFE ripoff Redmond Washington

I was a renter and just got out of a very serious situation where she conned me out of money. I had to call the police on her twice  and am in the process of sueing her for my deposit as I was nlt there for 30 days before I put my notice in. She is a compilsive liar! Luckly I did my horse there or who knows what would have happened. I have all the emails to back up all these claims.

I have absolutely NO sympathy for these people. PAY YOUR BOARD BILL! It is COMPLETELY legal to lock horses up, sell them at auction and seize them as property in Washington State if you fail to pay your board bill. Horses are NOT necessities, they are expensive, luxury animals, and if you can't afford one..... don't get one!

Same goes for rent! Pay your rent, if you fail to pay your rent and want sympathy from your landlord, get out of the house and let her rent it to someone else who does have the money! It's not the landlords problem you don't have the cash. And if you can't pay and continue to make problems, yeah, that pretty much makes you trash.

Get a reality check people and stop whining and causing problems for business owners!

And John... search for Saddle Rock Stables on this site and you will see other reports from different people about Barbara Linstedt. Obviously you didn't read the report from Caroline or Geoff about Saddle Rock Stables because if you had, you would not have posted you previous comment. They go into detail about Barbara's childish and malicious behavior. Think before you speak (post)!!!

Actually John. It wasn't mentioned that Barbara charged us in her Land Rover to try to trap us in a small area. Caroline was on crutches, recovering from surgery, when this happened and she could have been seriously hurt. Before you knock somebody's credibility, you should know more about the situation. Thank you for your interest in our case.

The "shock value" of "vehicular assault" in the title made me read this complaint. It also, however, shot your credibility as there is nothing at all nothing "vehicular assault" much less actually being "vehicular assault". You merely did it-and probably this complaint-for attention

First off... Madgall... If you look at the report that Caroline wrote and actually READ it, you will read near the end that we have PROOF! We have numerous photos of our horses padlocked inside of their stalls (see bottom or report) during the day and evening. We have emails and reports to the BBB where Barbara has claimed that she never padlocked the horses and our photos prove that she lied. She claimed to the BBB that I was fired from a previous job and I have since aquired a certified letter from my former Vice President of Marketing saying I was in no way fired and was asked to stay with the company. Another lie of Barbara's that I can prove. We have a 3rd party witness thathas aggreed to sign a sworn affadavit saying that Barbara was hysterical and threatening. Do you know what an affadavit is? It is an oath under the penalty of purjury to the judicial system of the United States of America!

Caroline's father who happens to be the President of the Seattle City Council was present for this whole fiasco and Barbara threatened him and he is ready to testify his story in court. We have two reports rom animal control of king county reported by Barbara's neighbor saying that our horses were not fed and previous horses under Barbara's supervision were not taken care of and were later put down! I have heard from many many many people in the Washington horse community that have claimed that Barbara is a liar, a cheat and a theif. One of those people happens to be an Olympic level rider here in the area! If you read other reports on this site, you will notice people have reported very similar childish and criminal behavior from Barbara which shows a clear pattern!

And Barbara... as far as you are concerned... it's not slander if you are telling the truth! I have physical proof that you committed these cruel and unusual acts and hurt many people and/or animals! And as I have mentioned to you before... STOP PLAYING THE VICTIM GAME!!! Somebody in your family dying has nothing to do with this case or your other problem with your former tenants. And quite frankly... nobody really cares that somebody died in your family. Sorry, but it's the truth. You can tell everybody and anybody that you are an honest Christian woman but you and I know how honest you really are. And as far as nobody believing our reports... go the the Better Business Bereau's website and search under Saddle Rock Stables and look at the result of the report. You will be interested to find that the BBB has sided against you.


Also, not responding the the office of the Washington State Attorney General was very stupid. You now have a big mark on your record and all it will take is one more complaint for the State to consider pressing charges against you. Be careful who you decided to lie, cheat, and steal from next time because it might come back to haunt you! So next time you want to accuse me of slander, you should think about your lies and also think that I havent yet pressed charges against you for defamation of character. Telling lies to a company like the BBB about me getting fired won't go over too well with a judge. Just something to think about...

Also, every horse magazine and equestrian federation that I could find has received photos and the report I wrote to the BBB about Saddle Rock and many had already heard bad things about Saddle Rock. To anybody reading this other than Barbara and Madgall: You can see that I am still very angry and hurt by this situation that happened months ago. Don't let Barbara Linstedt hurt you. She has hurt my whole family and continues to lie about this situation even though we have clear proof that sheis guilty and she had clear motive. STAY AWAY FROM BARBARA LINSTEDT!!! This case has recently been taken to a higher level so wish us luck!

Barbara Linstead is a woman of integrity and she runs her business with integrity. She gets taken advantage of because she is too generous and then when it is time for her to collect, thats when people(MAX) start to complain. All Max is doing is causing embarrassment to himself and Caroline by questioning Barabara's intentions and management of Saddle Rock stables.

Saddlerock is an amazingly run business. I am proud to ride and board my horse in such an outstanding environment.

Max, No one is going to believe what you print. It is so sad that you could not pay your board and had to leave the barn. I tried to help you as long as I could and gave your horses excellent care. These allegations are completely false: You made them up because you are mad. I have had a death in the family and ask that you stop this slander. This has gone on for months now and gone too far. Please stop harrassing me in this way. Barbara

While staying with a friend who rented from Barbara I saw the same behavior from her as well. I found her to be very irrational, childish, and making VERY meliscious threats. She thretened to burn the place down if we weren't out by a given date, she spread horse maneur in multiple places in the house as well as putting a diesel soaked roap in the bedroom closet and a package of hamburger behind the fridge to rott. She also rummaged through all our things including a my file cabinet with all my bank statments and other personal info in it. She made false acusations about things we had done and had made agreements that she never kept her end of. I would highly recomend anyone to stay far far away from her and her business.
