I'm covered under an extended warranty byhttp://www.bestsavingsource.comto repair it.it was time to use it (TV not working), I called them to repair it.That was six weeks ago. I've had delayed parts issues, servicemen who don't show up, call center staff who don't know what to do or care, bounced back messages to me from emails with addressesthat arepublishedon the site, and obnoxious technicians telling me they can guarantee nothing. I've been told the part and/or technician may never reach my home andevenif they did, Safe National America can't guarantee everything will work. Now I've been told to go to the local Safe National America store and pick out a new TV, but I will have to buy a new warranty even though I've got 23 months left on mycurrent warranty.

What to think?
AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

I think these bogus reports are being filed by the "employee". I seems to me that they may be trying to cover up the legitimate complaints with bogus ones.
I don't think it's an employee; a fired ex-employee perhaps but not a current employee. I can't believe thatANY company would think that posting bogus RORs is going to help them in any manner-NO ONE IS THAT STUPID. For most consumers, just seeing a company on ROR is enough for them to NOT conduct business with them.
Further, as I stated in another rebuttal, a HUGE RED FLAG for this bestsavingsource.com is that their SSL certificate is for a defunct website!!! That by itself is enough for all consumers to stay away from them. Another red flag, to a lesser degree, is that the domain owner is hidden by a domain proxy service. In other words, they don't want consumers to know what LEGAL JURISDICTION they are in-makes filing a lawsuit a tad tricky ya know!
The SSL certificate that they are using is EXPIRED and for a different website (best-saving-shop.com.) Further, at the bottom of their webpages, lower left corner, it states best-saving-shop.com. They're too cheap to correct their piss poor website from what was very likly a previous scam.
In other words, their current website is CRAP and anyone usined MS IE version 8 would be alerted to the incorrect SSL certificate-IE 8 will present a warning and will NOT continue to the checkout webpage unless the consumer over rides the warning. How can a company sell stuff with this CRAP? They can't.
I think some of the RORs may be legitimate, especially the ones about unauthorized $30 debits. This is plausible to me. I suspect that someone went to a payday loan site (portal) filled out some information and then DID NOT GET the loan, but were hit with a $30 "application fee."
Many payday loan sites do charge an application fee, regardless as to the loan is granted or not-the details of this fee is usually buried in the website TOS, so I can understand how someone may have been hit with this fee and not understand that the fee was authorized when they completed the loan application. Hence, they believe the debit to be unauthorized.
I suspect that one of three possible scenarios is what's really going on;
1. Someone was hit with an "unauthorized" fee and has gone on an internet rampage.
2. Someone was FIRED and went on an internet rampage.
3. Someone who has one of those shabby "repair your online reputation" businesses is trying to drum up a client.
In my years on ROR, I have seen all three of these scenarios occur. As to the "employee" rebuttals that have been posted, I don't believe they are from an employee at all-they don't address the issues presented in the RORs. But just in case, let's pose THIS QUESTION to them:
Will you please explain why your SSL certificate is EXPIRED and for a DIFFERENT WEBSITE?
P.S. I posted about the SSL certificate a week or so ago and these fools STILL haven't coughed up the meager $125 to obtain a legitimate SSL certificate. Go figure.

What do you think?
I know some of these complaints are real, but like you have pointed out most of them are just copy-paste form old reports about other companies.

This is another bogus report! This report is a copy of a Best Buy ROR submitted in April 2010.
The original ROR # 596398 can be read here: http://www.ripoffreport.com/television-parts-services/best-buy/best-buy-best-buy-worst-servi-76fea.htm
Why don't you tell us why you're waging this silly internet crusade? These bogus reports of yours are rather silly and ineffectual.
Tell us the REAL REASON you're making all of these PHONEY reports!
