If I had only checked this company out first. I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income, when I spoke to these people I kept telling them I really couldn't afford this warranty. They went into thier hard sell routine and before I knew it I ended up with the warranty. I was told that when I received the information look it over and if I wanted to cancel within the 30 day period there would be no problem and I woluld receive a full refund. LIE!!

I called their customer service department and was connected to an individual named Geraine. I told him I would like to cancel the warranty and was hit with a hundred questions. I didn't want to but explained that I had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and needed to cancel. This so called intelligent person did not know what terminal ment and I had to go through the pain of explaining it to him.

He then had the nerve to ask me what I was going to do with my car, I told him I was turning it over to my daughter and she would sell it. He then asked why I didn't keep the warranty and pass it on the next owner. I couldn't believe this insentive moron. By now I just wanted to get off the phone and have this over with. He then asked me what I did with the Dura Lube, I didnot know where this would lead so told him I put it in the car. This started him on another rampage about how I couldn't get a refund because I used the additive, which I could probably could get at Auto Zone for 3 bucks.

So then I came clean and told him I was upset and just wanted this overwith and I had not used the product, he then started calling me a liar and wondered what I was up to, how he doubted if my illness had anything to do with it at all, he told me to return the product, and in a very threating tone, told me if the bottle had been tampered with there would be no refund, no nothing.

What is wrong with this company? Has the almighty dollar replaced common curtesy. I don't know if I will receive a refund or not. if I don't I see a lawyer in my future.

YOU should not put anything into your car except lubricants that meet the manufacturer's specs

What is Dura Lube? Some snake oil?

There are companies selling Teflon additives that supposedly can be used in car engines, but Teflon should never be put into a car engine... just ask DuPont. DuPont invented Teflon.

I do get a lot of calls and letters from idiots trying to sell me extended auto warranties. I ignore them.
