sahalie membership program and credit card program...same name, deceptive Hillsborough,  oregon

Sahalie has a very deceptive program, and it took me a couple of months to find out. They offere a no-annual fee credit card called the Sahalie VIP card. But then they also enroll you in a Sahalie VIP membership that looks exactly the same. It carries a monthly fee of $14.95. 

I pay off my balances monthly so I have no outstanding debt, and no interest. I saw that, despite the fact that Ihad not purchased anything for a few months, my balance kept going up, which is how I discovered this unethical scam. Calls to the company were confusing; they explained that there are two programs, the credit card and the membership, and they are separate. I told them that it looks exactly the same, and it doesn't mention on the credit card page anything about a montly membership fee...it just touts 'no annual fee.' Well, I guess that is true; it's monthly, not annual. Shame on them. They suggested I call corporate. Like they'll care. 

I like their clothes, too, so it's too bad. I will not be buying anything else from them once this is resolved, and I will cancel my card.
