Saint Matthews Church Mail scam felt good, sadly.. Tulsa Oklahoma

Sadly, I am in a custody battle, and my child is being badly abused by my mom, so when these came in the mailbox, I was a target, and needy.

I gave, every (even change) month, every single letter, asking, I gave. I felt good tithing, and I felt better than how my church locally ignored my plea s for help. I believe it was recognized by God, but I was abandoned, when my dollars dwindled to just change, no more mail has come, with no finality, just a bereft emptiness.

Then, I knew it for what of course it is.. I gave over the thirty in some letters, and once or twice around sixty, and many times ten, and twenty, fifteen, and fives, when it became only change I had left each month, after rent, and no food costs, I never got another letter, just no more came.

I want to reiterate, that belief always feels good, and prayer was real, and my faith grew thick, I spent alot of prayer time, so that part was valuable.

But that money..well, one hopes it isn't just making someone rich, although that is how america really is, isn't it?

i SAW NO DIFFERENCE IN TITHING INTO AN ENVELOPE, AND TITHING AT LOCAL CHURCH, we never see where our money goes, and how are those fancy expensive flowers paid for in church, anyhow?

All of our ministers live better than our single parent family's, churches are write-offs, rents are paid, and they eat out..most churches have a full parking lot of vans that just sit there, when I don't have a car..

so my point is:
well? Tithe anyway, and maybe into a shelter's door slot, to really make a difference, ok? Keep praying. Pray for my child. CPS and court refused to investigate, and gramma just broke her nose for not getting out of bed before school.
