I purchased a PEC-HW-T15 salt cell from saltpoolstore.com in July, 2017. The unit worked good for about a year. Now it reports a pool temperature of over 170 degrees, which tells the control unit to stop generating chlorine.

Sent an e-mail about three weeks ago with no response. Called their number over a week ago and requested sales from their automated answering system. Was immedately sent to voice mail. Left a message and no response yet. Called again Yesterday and selected technical help and was switched to voice mail again. Left another message and no call back yet.

The salt cell was and still is advertised to have a 5 year warranty. Any warranty does not mean a thing if the company is non-responsive. I will not use this company again and cannot recommend them to anyone.
