Saxon Mortgage Company Making Homeless while you wait! Cleveland, Ohio

We got behind on our mortgage payment due to a loss of income.  When we contacted our lender we were told to wait until April 2009 because the HAMP program will be approved by the president of the U.S.A and we would qualify. 

My husband contact Saxon Mortgage Co. on April 2009 to get information on the HAMP program and to start our application.   The packaged was sent out and completed. My husband called about 2wks later and they told him that they had received the papers but were missing the bank statement and hardship letter.  We re-faxed the requested info and were told that they would look into our situation and let us know if we qualified for the HAMP program.

In the meantime we also called H.O.P.E. who refered us to CCCS a trying to get a Loan Modification.  The people at CCCS told us that we needed to wait on Saxon but they will also call them to expedite the process. Of course no one has done a thing to help !

In late May my husband called and was told that he had been approved for the HAMP program but if we didn't send $535.00 via Western Union that day they wouldn't process the paperwork. He was told that for the next 3 months we had to pay $535.00 on the first while the paperwork was processed and that August 1, 2009 we would know if the loan had been modified.  

Well on July 15, 2009 we got served with a FORECLOSURE notice by a company named IXIS, when we called Saxon they said that, IXIS was a 3rd party company they used but they had been notified that we had qualified for the program so the FORECLOSURE was put on hold.

We TRUSTED Saxon and continued to make our payment, no word from them yet, but today when we came home our LOCKS had been changed !!!! we called the 1-800 listed on the notice at the door that said NO TRESPASSING and a rep from Bank of America answered the phone !!!! WHAT its going on?..they don't know who we are but they have the property..it seems that Saxon sold the loan to IXIS and they went ahead and sold it to God knows who .... ALL THIS WHILE WE WERE WAITING.

So now we are homeless and have no answers until the mornig !!! this is the AMERICAN WAY !!!
