After spending $900 to travel to Ireland in the winter (the original "deal" was for $599) the customer "service" representative contacted me to tell me that all changes had to be finalized within 72 hours. This included buying more car insurance and making sure that my passport matched my name. At issue, was the inclusion of my middle name or middle initial. I had renewed my passport, so didn't have access to it. When i found I needed to include my full middle name, I contacted Sceptre tours and reported it (within 24 hours). Sceptre tours charges $50 to speak with a representative, so I waited for two days for a response via email, whereby the agent informed me a I could make changes to my name for $175. (!) Upon further communication (again, the response time was three days) they informed me that ther also was no way to refund my money for the trip- so I can either Pay an additional $175 to their already inflated charge (not the original $599) or not board. . .
Buyer beware- don't book with this company!

Sceptre Tours was great to us

We got a package from Sceptre Tours that was almost too good to be true. It was airfare to Venice, Italy, rental car (BMW)for six days, two nights in Venice at a beautiful hotel with breakfast included and four nights in a beautiful old hilltop resort in Tuscany that was near Florence, Sienna, etc. At the resort, we had a two bedroom apartment with kitchen that was very nice. We paid $899 each (four of us) for this incredible trip. I have been looking for another deal like this with Sceptre. We were so impressed every step of our trip.
