This ripoff company cheats the drivers on almost every load. They refuse to pay the actual mileage instead they pay what is known by drivers as "Schneider Gyp Pay" where they pay less then the actual trip. Sometimes the gyp pay is so bad that hundreds of miles are not paid, instead they pay only 80% to 50% of the actual trip!
Beware this company if your thinking of joining it, they will rip you off with their daily mileage scam! Once a theif company always a thief company stay away from Schneider unless you like getting ripped off!!!

I been ripped off huge due to this mileage scam!
AUTHOR: Ken Jr - (United States of America)

I am losing 20% and worse due to this mileage scam even worse it's making for late deliveries as if i have to drive an extra 100 miles + unpaid thats an extra 2 hours drive time so not only is the load late Schnitter is stealing from me to boot! I don't know what kind of loads your on but i am getting ripped off big time it's so bad i am getting regular $250 to $275 per week take home due to the long live loads and unloads where i spend 3 hours each sitting at the docks and Schnitter pays me $5 for 3 hours then i get the mileage ripoff to boot! Schnitter promised me that i'd be taking home $1000/week when they recruited me just like the drivers at Hearltland Express are really making. I plan to get the hell out of this theiving Schnitter scammer outfit and head over to Heartland where i can earn an honest living. It's a real disgrace that the executives rake in millions and the scumbag Schnitter family earns billions while they refuse to provide for their drivers retirements in anyway whatsoever. This is what happens when you work for a low life company like Schnitter National. And i been to Green Bay several times and have to agree that it's saturated with airhead cheeseheads that's why Schnitter is a theif company i figure as they just don't know the difference between right and wrong.

HHG Miles v. Practical and Actual miles
AUTHOR: Deborah - (USA)

While I've had my problems with Schneider National, this report is a bit, um, off...
It is true that Schneider National uses the Household Movers Guide (HHG) miles, as do many companies. It's a sore spot with many drivers, company and owner-operator alike, because it shorts drivers. However, in 15 years of driving, I have never seen drivers get shorted 50% to 80% because of HHG miles, unless the trip is really short (less than 25 usually). Overall, HHG miles short drivers by 5%-10%, depending on the type of load (HazMat drivers really get screwed). This is mainly due to the fact that HHG uses zip code to zip code (closest borders), rather than a somewhat more accurate door-to-door, or even center to center.
More reputable companies use Practical Miles, but even then you still lose up to 5% of actual miles, mainly because that doesn't account for having to make stops for routine things like fuel and required rest breaks.
Very few companies pay actual miles, mainly because a few drivers abused it and they've been burned.
But, yeah, for a company like Schneider to still be using HHG miles instead of Practical Miles is a bit messed up, since there is no legal and safe way to follow the suggested routing. Even their own GPS system in all the trucks can't come up with numbers that low, and those routes are often illegal for trucks to take.
Will they change? Not likely, too many drivers just accept it as a price you pay for being a trucker.

What kind of company employee would tell drivers they are losers with a low IQ. This would scare off new drivers. The real loser Is you scumbag! well drivers already know trucking companies treat good drivers like s**t.

Over exageration

I drove for Schneider for two years I worked Regional Solo, Teams, and Dedicated for General Motors. The way the mileage is paid is off the Housing Guide which goes zip code to zip code and though yes you end up with built in out of route in almost every load it is not 80 to 50 percent. Very few companies pay actual miles and when they do if you deviate from their planned drive route they will nail you for it.
I am actually in process with getting back on the road with Schneider they are the only company I feel who takes safety as a way of life rather than empty promises and (asking or forcing you with threats of service failures) to run illegal.

Gee, we are CheeseHead morons? Schneider sees losers like you come and go. It's quality humor for us, actually. This time, how about you just go without your drama? It's always the worthless ones that have the biggest mouths and the lowest IQ's. You got screwed out of 200 miles because you were either out of route or didn't do your Trip Pak correctly. Bright ones like you always blame others for their stupidity.

You didn't have the guts to say what company your working for, let me guess your a low level a-hole manager at Schneider? And your asserting it's only 5 to 8% ripoff is way off. Any driver who drives for Schneider can attest to the blantant theft of drivers wages by those Cheese Head Morons in Green Bay. I have personally talked to other drivers who drove cross country and they told me they were ripped off for over 200 miles on that one trip alone, and I am ripped off daily by SNI theiving scumbags.
If you like getting ripped off BIG TIME by your employer you'll love working for the theif company Schneider.

50% my eye.
I've been a driver for over 11 years with several companies. Yes, it's true...HHG miles are generally less than actual, but year-over-year, it comes to between 5 and 8%.
If you are driving 20 to 50 percent more miles than you're being paid for, you simply don't know what you're doing.
I've replied to one of your other rants, and I'll say the same thing here....you sound like an immature, childish brat who doesn't have a clue as to how business works...let alone real life.
