Schneider charging me for training that I had already previously received through another trucking school in which I already have a class A license, I was told by a Schneider recruiter that the contract I would be signing was infact a contract stating my pay per mile - not trucking school of which I do not need since I already have my class A license.

Later, after examination of the document of which I was rushed to sign at orientation with Schneider, I confronted Kirby and Brett Cox with my findings - I told them there was no such writing within the contract that stated what they said my pay was going to be, and that it seems to be a contract for trucking school - no satisfactory explaination was given at that time. the following day I was released from their orientation. Their reason - because I had a glass of wine at dinner.

The real reason though is because I had confronted them about the contract they made me sign which clearly did not have anything to do with what my pay was going to be in cents per mile. Schneider has ruined my good credit report by falsely reporting that I owe them 1833.00 in charges. I was there approximately 4 days. I do not owe Schneider anything - why would I pay for something I had already paid for and obtained at an earlier date in 2006 with Txxx Txxxxx School?(((REDACTED)))

Schneider crooked ways strikes again

AUTHOR: Christopher - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, October 01, 2009

I was victimized by Schneider National Carriers. I will explain. I was hurt on the job on the 5th of June of 2009.Later when I went to Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis, Arkansas I found out I had a high blood pressure. Schneider sent me home told me before I could come back to work until I had to get my blood pressure regulated. I said okay. My family doctor got the form and we followed the form they had for us to go by. Me and my family done that. I called them on the 24th of September and after I got released from the orthopedic surgeon. I ask to speak with my DBL and I was told she was in a meeting and she would be in that meeting all day. I mention to the DSR I would like to leave her a message. He said okay. I told him my driver number, and I mentioned that I would not be able to return because my blood pressure would not stay regulated. He said he would tell her to call me. Then on the 1st of October I got a phone call from my DBL that they were terminating my employment. I had already quit 1 week before they called me. They are going to tarnish my record because they did not like paying me while I was off of work due to a work related injury.

Schneider is a rip off company!

Schneider makes money training people knowing full well 95% of them won't stay. I think $3500 for two weeks training is excessive, but being as Schneider is a major joke in the industry it's no surprise they'd take advantage of newbies trying to break into the field being as they have no integrity, hell they rip off their regular employees on a regular basis.

And ignore Ken, he's a regular pest here on the board who is a Schneider kiss a*s, no matter what despicable behavior Schneider engages in he's singing non stop praises even as they crap all over him. Hell he's such a retard he thinks no one deserves a pension, that's how retarded this guy is. Just cause Ken is a half wit that don't mean everyone else is, so i can understand why your upset the way Schneider is trying to rip you off, they do it everyone else as well.

You stated you got your CDL in 2006?? That's three years ago. Now the important question...

Have you USED your CDL professionally during that time? If not, then you're going to be required to go back through school again. I know, because that was my situation, only in the mid-90s. Got my CDL...ended up not using it due to some family circumstances. Decided to hit the road a few years later, but had to basically start over with training even though my CDL was still good.

If you have no experience, a CDL will mean zip..zero...nada.
