Schneider National Training Academy Shneider National Training sucks Green bay , Wisconsin

This is for the newbies considering Schneider to get there CDL. This all started back in 2003. I had A1 Credit from 19 until I started with them and my credit

took a nose dive at 21.

I did not get the training I needed, Did not train me on customs and border crossing. The instructor told us that our trainers would show us all of that but I got a local trainer that picked up at a rail yard and an drove 15-20 minutes to a chrysler plant.

Well go figure my first solo load was straight into canada. My first check was .34 cents and my second was .19 cents.I told my STL that i was going to quit unless Schneider put me with an OTR trainer for 2 weeks and she (ANGIE) refused so I bailed.

If your thinking that it was just because I was a rookie and did not know what I was doing I can cover that too.After leaving I scrapped metal for money

and ended up breaking me leg and having to have a metal rod put in, when released to go back to work I applied with swift, did 2 weeks with an OTR trainer and was taking home $400-600 aweek at .26cpm. After six months I got a raise to .34cpm and was taking home $700-1000 and some times more.

I got a bill for $4000 for training that sucked and I was not happy with.I felt real bad for one girl, instead of having us climb in the trailers on day one, they waited till day 4 and she could not do it so they sent her home with a $1500 bill. The only good thing that came from them was yes I got my CDL, but after there training I did not consider myself a driver, it was more like an uneducated idiot with a $4000 commercial drivers license.
