I was also ripped off by the Score Sense offer of a one dollar credit check. I should have known better, as this company was using obvious spamming techniques to contact new suckers.

Sign up, one dollar. A week later, $29.95 was taken out of my account. I didn't agree to it, and argued with the person on the telephone, but did not receive a refund. She tried to sell me a package for around three bucks a month, but having been burned once, I declined forcefully.

My advice is to stay well away from Score Sense.

There's Like a Billion Complaints Against This One Company.

AUTHOR: P.P. - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 16, 2013

There's so many complaints against this one company I would tell anyone to avoid it. Most of these credit checking companies are scams anyway. Even Equifax, Transunion, and Experian. Notice how on their sites they don't tell you that you are entitled to one Free Credit Report every year? They go immediately into their sales tactics and tries to get you to purchase one.

Also, they do the same thing as Score Sense by hiding in the fine print that you are agreeing to a contract payment by agreeing to that one time, $1 dollar fee. It's a bait and switch. Well, not really as they have the details laid out but hidden.

ALL OF THESE COMPANIES ARE SCAMMING NOW. I HAVE NEVER SEEN COMPANIES RESORT TO OUTRIGHT SCAMS LIKE IN 2012- UP TO NOW. They must all be desperate. They don't even make a pretense of trying to be fair anymore.
