I was offered a credit report over the phone and then saw a withdrawal from my checking account for $29.50. to pay for it.
I have to "cancel" with them by phone or they will make keep withdrawing this amount every month from now on. I will call them tomorrow! ...and I will try to get their actual address then.
Thanks for your assistance in this matter. '

...I seriously cannot believe that you gave a cold-caller on the phone your bank account information. Never mind about getting information from the scammer tomorrow- call your bank, tell them what happened, and take steps to protect your account.
You don't even have to talk to the scammers ever again. Just protect that account. And NEVER, EVER give anyone access to your bank account again!

...are one of those things you can get for free but which are constantly being offered as some amazing service by companies like CreditKarma or even SOLD by scummy scam artists. Paying for a credit report is like paying to have the US Postal Service hold your mail (and there are "services" that will do this, too- never mind the the USPS does it for FREE.)
Your bank can help you get your credit score. If you have a credit card, that company can get you your credit score. You don't need CreditKarma or any other company offering to unlock some "secret" info about your credit- it's right there, available for you, for free. All it takes is a little research.
