This guy has struck again. I wish I had checked here first before sending $2600.00 for a camper the would "make me proud". His latest name was Scott Pointer, but when I never received the R,V which he said was at an Auto-Trader facility in Dallas waiting to be shipped, I found lots of references on your site that have to be him.
DO NOT trust anyone who tells you to send a moneywire so he can "ship the vehicle" to you from a "holding facility" where some previous deal fell through. The ad was on Craigslist, Oodle, and findanyrv.com so he is all over. You will get a fake authorization from Auto-Trader with an invoice # (mine was 39470448) and a case ID (mine was 430587817). The name Angela N. will be at the bottom of it. Unles he changes that name, too. But he has used it before.
If I had checked here, I would never have fallen for this ****bag!

I found another report on this site with another picture link. This guy is a regular and he needs to be caught!

Please, please contact your Attorney General's Office asap and I mean today! And let them take over and try to set up a sting! This guy has ripped off so many people. I know I will never get my money back, but I want to see him caught! Whatever you do don't send any money yourself. Thank you for reporting him.

I thought you would want to know that Scott pointer is trying to steal from me too. I was looking on craigslist for a motor home and came across a 1988 holiday ramble for only 1950.00. I became suspicious looked his name up on face book and found this report. He gave me the same story about it being held in Florida in a holding facility because the last potential buyer lost his job and couldn't afford it. I just received an email saying he wants my full name and address so he could give my information to auto trader. I hope this information helps i would like this guy caught.
