I used to work at S***MAXX. The experience was bad for me, and DISASTROUS for many of their customers. The work is sloppy. The appliers work on commission. (Work fast/get to the next one!) No one cares about a complaint unless there's a threat of a lawsuit, or a call to The Attorney General's office.
MANY nice people,,hard working people,paid about 2-3 times what a DECENT company would have charged to do a deck, and 8-10 months later the phone started ringing off the hook with irate calls.
After they have the customer's money, it's pretty much a "Let 'em holler. IF they holler enough, MAYBE we'll do something" attitude.
They CHEATED me out of pay, and several other employees as well.
As a business, I hear they're close to bankrupt.
My Feelings: Couldn't happen to a nicer louse!!!

I find Mark's comments interesting about quality and lack of follow-up. He was the manager of Ops in Chicagoland last year and he was responsible for the work and quality there. I guess he is slamming his own work which helps illustrate why he also no longer works for SealMaxx, poor quality work.
As I have stated before, if anyone has a REAL issue please contact us. I will be happy to help resolve any concern with workmanship.
