We had a Kenmore refrigerator stop cooling and stop making ice.  We called Sears Appliance Repair.  They talked us into buying a year-long contract Home Warranty to reduce the cost of the repair.  

Technician showed up and stated it needed Freon, then filled it, and stated it was working and left.  The refrigerator actually got hotter and never worked again.  We called the local contractor that Sears Home Services had recommended (this vendor), and they stated it would be another 2 weeks before they could come back out.  They scheduled us a window for 1-5pm.  

We took off work this second day and no technician showed up.  We called at 4:30pm, and vendor stated technician was running late.  We called at 5:30pm, and they said he wasn't coming.  They didn't know the "status", and couldn't let me know when to schedule another one.  I called two different independent repair shops asking if they could help, and explained what this technician did.  Both independent shops stated that the technician made the problem worse, and that to fix Freon leaking problems, it would be an expensive repair.  

I called to cancel my warranty and Sears Home Appliance stated the vendor had no record of a technician NOT showing up and they scheduled me for later next week.  I was not even told of the next scheduled appointment, and have email records proving that they had an appointment with us, and never showed up.  They lied to keep their contract with Sears Home Services.  I canceled the contract, and was told this local vendor will still demand payments for a service that made the problem worse.  

I absolutely would stay away from this vendor.  They don't arrive on time, don't fix the problems, then lie about when they were supposed to arrive.
