secured funding is the company that does the paper work and gets interest rates for irwin home equity. i refinanced my home with an equity line of credit, during the process i was told that since i had not been in the home a year, i didn't qualify for the program that i was currently on track to go into.

The solution they offered was a different program with a higher interest rate, and said they would do a second refi in 2 months when i hit a year, and they would wave the closing cost. Stupid me, i belived them and went ahead, cause they also said it would be 60 days till my first payment and we would refi before that so i would not even have to pay on that one, i called again to begin the refi process.


No one ever called back and when i got someone on the line they said they had no programs to help me, and now i am stuck with a interest rate that is 4.5% higher than the one i was expecting to refi and get. i sure got bent over by this company.
