securitysystems.com & truckersdashcam.com is the worst business I ever dealt with.

 The owner of this so called operation Bill is a complete idiot and an A Hole.  I purchased their so called "#1 dash cam" of the net.  Took over a week to receive it and was broken out of the box, what a #1 right?  Had to call several times before he answered. Once this Bill finally did, all he did was make snide remarks and told me I should not buy electronics because I am too stupid...seriously! Then when I asked to return the product he gave me some BS about costs and hung up the phone.  Called me CC company filed a chargeback and shipped their piece of crap dash cam back to them. Worthless unprofessional company! Do your self a favor if you are thinking about buying from this guy, go else where you will be happy with your choice.  Again I find myself responding to another untrue "revenge" post to rip off report.  For the average folks a "charge back" is when a consumer calls their credit card company about a product or service they received that they are displeased with and want their money back.  Most vendors that accept credit cards and certainly those that have thousands of customers experience several of these every month.  it is just the way it is when dealing with thousands of consumers. 

SecuritySystems.com has not had one charge back for over two years and in totality only 5 since 2004.  Since this complaint makes reference to a charge back I'll assume it was the snow plow operator that bought our dash camera.  Five weeks after receiving it he called his credit card company telling them he never used the camera as it was defective "out of the box" and furthermore claimed that we had no phone number or e-mail for him to contact us to facilitate his return, this despite the fact he had called us from our website 800# and had placed a phone order.

Upon receiving the charge back notice I called him at home to inquire what was wrong with his unit and why he had chosen to call his credit card company five weeks after receiving his purchase when all he had to do was call us. 

I would love to mention his name as what transpired next was a tyrade about foreign made junk laced with F words.  He again reiterated he never could used the camera as it did not work at all.  This claim was also recorded by an agent from his bank who attested to this on the charge back form.  I told him to quickly send his purchase back and I would refund 100% of his money.

Upon receiving his dash camera back we discovered the memory card was inside the camera and there was hundreds of files that had been recorded over a 4 day span.  Our customer who lied to his credit card company had indeed used the camera for 2 days in his pick up truck and then transferred the unit to a huge snow plowing truck.  We had hundreds of videos of him plowing the highways at night time.  I might ad his videos were outstanding.

Most damaging to his lies that he never used the camera was the fact that on many of the files was his own voice talking to a passenger bragging about how he purchased this very camera and would call his credit card company when he was done using it to record the recent snow storm and his plowing of the highways. 

Apparently he did not realize the audio setting was recording all of his conversations.  In the most damaging file he is on the phone with his credit card company telling them about the purchase of the "defective" dash camera and that he wanted the charge reversed.  This at the very same time he had the camera recording!  On many of his recordings was his constant bragging about how he would "F" us and get his money back.  Other files recorded his voice calling people in traffic faggots and  Mother Fuc.....    It was so obvious this guy was a mean spirted person as well as a cheat and liar.

We sent the memory card to our credit card company disputing the claim the customer made that he never used the product.  They inturn sent the memory card to his credit card company.  The end result was his credit card company reversed the charge back and cancelled his credit card for lying to them about the purchase.   Again, I'd love to call you directly by name, but if you're reading this you know exactly who and what you are.  You are are liar, a cheat and an overall mean spirtied person.  It is highly probable that you function like this on a daily basis... but this time you lost.

BTW:  I copied many of your recordings you claim you "never made" and they are some of the best sample night videos we have ever seen.

Once again I will post this closing statement as it is most appropriate for this customer.

Here is the bottom line:  We have been selling on-line since 2004, we have sold over 115,000 customers.  Any company doing this kind of volume is sure to have a few customers that are as you say, are "combative" and difficult to please.  Any company that denies this is not telling the truth. If you search reviews for ADT you will find many complaints but they have a customer base of millions. In business these types of customers are referred to as the "one percenters", or more explicitly the 1% of customers that it is impossible to please.   It is just the "human" dynamic.  There are customers/people that are born to complain.  Rip off report is now the "go to" place to vent and post the "revenge" these people crave.  Prior to the internet these same people wrote letters to the BBB.  Rip off report is also the only complaint site that will never remove any comments, thus people are free to exaggerate and vent their revenge.  This makes them feel powerful. 

For the dash camera in mention; it is the best dash camera on the market as we have tested over 34 models. We sell more than 1,000 of these units a month to professional truckers, trucking companies and average folks for their daily driving. We experience less than one defect every two months.  That extrapolates to a defect rate of 1/20th of 1%.  All the other dash cameras on the market fail at a rate of 5-7% which is 50-70 units per 1,000.  SecuritySystems.com is the only on-line vendor that has over 70 real customer sample videos and over 1,600 reviews in which customers rave not only about the product but the service they receive as well.  We are also the only vendor that offers a life time warranty.  Lastly I might add that this customer left a fantastic review on the Shopper Approved link and to date although he was offered a return and refund, never sent back his camera.  We now have 10 or 11 complaints on this complaint site. It seems to follow a pattern 1-2 a year.  I would ask any reasonably minded person to consider the tens of thousands of very happy customers we have.
