SHAPELL HOMES BILL WEST WILL NOT SELL HOMES TO PEOPLE THAT MAKE COMPLAINTS TO THE CORPORATE OFFICE . THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, RUDE, AND NEVER RETURN CALLS. THEY ALSO REFUSE TO SELL A HOME TO SINGLE WOMEN LOS ANGELES, California

Shapell Homes is the most incompetent company that I have dealt with. I had an issue with the sales office when I went to buy a home.  The moment I let them know of my problem they immediately did  not take accountability whatsoever, nor were they willing to do any investigation. They blame the home buyer.  I spoke to the President Bill West and shared my complaint with him. The minute I shared my complaint with Bill he didnt care about anything I had to say.  Bill was appalled at the idea that somebody would actually call him to share a dissatisfied experience.  I then spoke to Tom Ingram, general counsel and he didnt care about anything I had to say either.  He was rude and short and showed no business maturity.  He just brushed me off.  I left several messages and not one person had the audacity to return a phone call.   The executive team at this company is an embarrassment to any customer that would have to deal with them.  They have no core values and they do not even have the respect to call a potential home buyer back. 
Last time I checked the appropriate thing to do is return a phone call. Where is the service from Shapell Industries as I had the worst customer service experience.

I am also a single women and they discriminated against me and refused to sell me a home. 
I would never refer anyone to Shapell Homes they are the worst company to do business with.  Watch out as Bill West has no managerial courage and couldnt even answer any of my questions.  Tom was no help either I have no idea how these two incompetent people continue their employment.  Oh I know how, if you complain you dont get to purchase a home.  I am sure the board of directors would really like to hear about my experience.  Or would they?
