After having a horrible experience dealing with Sheer Cover, I did a search for other customers experiences and I'm disgusted to see how many people are going through the same thing!
After ordering once, I began receiving a new box every few weeks. The quality of this product is not great, so I definitely did not want to receive it again. I called to cancel the membership. Customer service was very nice and said not a problem. After that my card was charged again, but I assumed it was for the previous box I had received - I let it go. Then I began receiving calls from s****.>
We're all being ripped off here.

I Almost Had this Happen

Hi :) I also made the mistake of ordering the trial of Sheer Cover for $5.95. After actually trying the product, I was utterly disappointed with it. The brushes it came with were terrible. They were scratchy and shed all over the place. The duo concealer was pretty awful. It was very cakey and actually dried out the skin under my eyes making it flaky. The foundation powder does not provide "sheer" anything, nor does it "cover". Somehow it managed to look caked-on, painfully obviously, cover nothing, and make my skin feel like it was suffocating. The instructions said you could mix a small amount of the powder with the SPF lotion for a tinted moisturizer. Um, no, you can't. It solidified and rolled off my face in nasty clumps. The lotion is okay by itself, I actually liked the cleanser, and the little compact of lipgloss and such was useable. Overall, NOT worth the money. So, I cancelled. They kept their $5.95, I kept the products.
When you order the free trial ($5.95 is for the shipping) they automatically enroll you in auto-ship. If you do not call and cancel your auto-ship membership within the 30day window (or maybe it was 2 weeks, I don't recall), you will get more product shipped to you every few weeks. Did you cancel BEFORE the trial period ended? If you didn't, they have the right to charge you at least until the point that you cancel. They say you can cancel at any time, so if you have and they keep charging you they are screwing you.
They will charge your credit card for each new shipment. They make the cost look like $29.95 per shipment. THAT'S WRONG! Read the fine print! They actually charge 3 MONTHLY payments of $29.95 per shipment. Basically, Sheer Cover will be taking $29.99/mo out of your account for as long as you remain a member. It's not even worth $29 in my opinion. Definitely NOT worth $100.
Get nasty if you have to! I had to. They kept saying it was cancelled, I would call, it would still be active. I just wouldn't take that anymore, talked to a supervisor, and threw a fit. Just keep climbing their management ladder until they make it right!
