We need legal advise! All of us shopgoodwill.com victims! Why don't they have to play by the rules? Are there rules?
So....let me add to the rediculous shenanigins that shopgoodwill.com is up to. Now they are pulling off auctions for items that bidders have already bid on. As an exapple, There were two watches that we bid on that started at $9.99 and one hour befor the auction was to end when the bidding was well over $500 or more, the item was pulled and the auction just showed that it had 17 bids and sold for $9.99! What? So we asked them where the auction went and why it ended when we were still in the heat of the bidding? They replied that they pulled the item. That's it. End of story.
Then, to add to the misery. I won an auction for a designer RADO watch for over $200. The listing clearly said it was a RADO and the photos ahowed close ups of the face and back. I'm not a watch expert but I know these watches can sell for alot more so I had a bidding frenzy with 27 total bids placed but I win the auction. When it arrived the clasp on the band was broken so I spent a few weeks trying to find a band that would fit and when there was nothing like it I decided to open up to see if there was someting fishy about it. Sure enough. It was a cheap quartz watch movement. A total counterfeit!
So naturally I contacted them and told them it was a counterfiet and I wanted to return it for a refund.
They sent me a return shipping label and I sent it back. They sent it back to me loose in a huge prriority mail envelope with a note scribbled on the reciept and auction information that I sent them. They simply said: "Cannot accept return. has been over two months since purchace and ship date." Sooo why did you send me a return label? And isn't it a crime to sell counterfeit merchandise? Is IT? Does somebody know if they are allowed to sell fake merchandise? Don't they have to give my money back? $200 is alot of money.
Add to this the crazy padded shipping charges and the ever increasing handling charges.
Can't we start a lawsuit to make them play fair????? Who else got burned?? Let's discuss our options.
Any lawers out there who have some answeres for us?
The pool of victims is growing!
