In looking over my bank statement this month I found a strange charge from a company I had never heard of. . .
I called this company and they stated that they received my information because I somehow clicked over a banner ad that they had on the restaurant.com website. They said I entered my email to sign up for their service. I did not. HOWEVER, my credit card was not entered by me. It was supplied by restaurant.com

Unfortunately, I have not noticed this monthly charge of $14.95 that has been occurring since October until two days ago. Shopping Essentials would only refund two months. I am still awaiting a response from restaurant.com

This is the reply I received from restaurant.com. I did not complete a survey/nor agree to a "free" trial of anything!

Hello,
At the end of your order there was an offer to receive $10 cash back for
completing a survey and becoming a member with Shopping Essentials. For
completing this survey you have agreed to let Restaurant.com give Shopping
Essentials your information, including the credit card information that was
used in your order. If you do not wish to continue your membership with
Shopping Essentials after your 30-day free trial, you will need to contact
Shopping Essentials before you get charged the $14.95 monthly membership
fee, which will start 30 days after the completion of your survey, which is
also the same date as your Restaurant.com order. Shopping Essentials number
is 888-999-0564.
