I am a new victim of Shopping Essentials. I have contacted my bank and alerted them. I have also downloaded a complaint form from the Illinois Attorney Generals office. I am adding their link if anyone wants to use it. I am also contacting my state government to file a complaint as well. Good luck.

Yes PotPourri does offer program via the discount. SHE IGNORED THE DISCLOSURE that told her by taking the $$ off offer she was signing up for it. To avoid the monthly charge you have to cancel within 14 days.
IT WAS THERE - NO ONE EVER BOTHERS TO READ IT then gets on the complaint boards and cries FRAUD.
the Today show did a piece on these worthless membership programs and researched every website that the viewers complained about and they found FULL DISCLOSURE on all the sites. They determined that no one ever bothered to read them.
The companies behind these worthless membership programs KNOW that no one reads the disclosures or their credit card statements and take full advantage of it.

After a personal letter from me, a report to the Illinois Atty. General and a complaint to my state Atty General, I received two emails today from Shopping Essentials stating that the monthly debit card charges were being stopped and that I would see refunds for the two charges my account had received. Can't say for sure what action prompted the turn-around, but it appears to have worked.
My wife remembered where the pop-up came from that began this action. She ordered something before Christmas from Potpourri, a catalog company. She went back and the site has a pop-up asking customers if they would like to save $$$ on their purchase. If you click "YES" then you give away your info to Shopping Essentials. BEWARE!!
Lillian Vernon has a similar scheme where inattentive customers find themselves signed up for Lillian Vernon Rewards Program that charges your account.
Don't get in a hurry if you shop on-line!
