After purchasing a discount dinner through restaurant.com (a good organization), I was told I would be subscribed to this shopping service for free, with the right to discontinue upon renewal. I told them to discontinue and they did not, instead charging me $18.00 a month, until I noticed a few months back. When confronted they said they would refund one month but the "agreement" allowed them not to refund any more. My AMEX was able to stop payment on half of the money but they still got me for about $60.00.

Shopping Essentials Plus MVQ I made an online purchase form a company called Potpourri in 2008 and was automatically signed up for a 30 day free trial of something I was not aware of and I have been changed 25.95 every month since then despite several attempts to stop them. I finally got my credit card comapny involved. They are only willing to refund the last 3 months worth of charges-utter fraud. Chicago Illinois
