In November of 2012, we went to a timeshare presentation where we were presented with information about Signature Residence Club by a guy named Kevin ( who used to work for AirCanada). We were told that there are no maintenance fees for this club and it is not considered a timeshare, it is more like a vacation club. We were told that we would get great prices for top notch hotels, airfare and travel. It all sounded too good to be true, but Kevin assured us that it was and took out his laptop and showed us some of the rates for some vacations that we might like to take in the next year.
We were then told that they buy our timeshare from us and then in 180 days we will receive our money we spend back plus an additional amount. We gave them $8,100 cash that day with the promise they were going to give us $11,500 in 180 days.
When we got home, we were called by Premier Property Management and told that we needed to give them $664.89 more for the Escrow Liquidation Contract. Now we were never told anything about Premier Property Management in the original conversation we had with Kevin. We paid the $664.89 and we were promised the $11,500 within 180 days by the contract we signed. We called Premier Property Management several times over the last year and they kept giving us the answer that the person who was going to buy the timeshare backed out and is in breach of contract. Basically constantly giving us the runaround.
Well here it is August over, 3 months away from it being a year since we signed contract that states we will have our money within 180 days.
If you go to Cabo or anywhere and attend a timeshare presentation for Signature Residence Club, DO NOT BUY IT!!! BUYER BEWARE, because they will take your money and give you nothing in return but the runaround. Only buy a timeshare through a legitimate hotel. We were told by an attorney today that basically we are out $8,764.89 and we will never get that back, Signature Residence Club stole our money. I wish I had a time machine because I would go back and change this whole transaction.
Sincerely,

Timeshare ownership is a scam

I’ve always been wary of timeshare ownership, and for good reason, apparently. The upside is that the cost of staying in a hotel includes room service, cleaning, etc – things you don’t get during your stay in a timeshare. I can see how it could be considered an “investment in lifestyle,” but that seems like a wasteful and silly way to spend my money. That’s just me.

Signature Residence Club Scam
AUTHOR: RoseW - ()

Signature Residence Club is just a simple scam! They misrepresent their services and do false advertisement and then steal money from their customers and also their private details. After that they start to ignore people who paid them money and they use their private details in own purposes. Be careful and better stay away!
