Silicon Solar Will not allow return of defective product. Very bad customer service ripoff Bainbridge New York

I purchased #04-1185 Night & Day Solar Fountain Pump Kit from Silicon Solar. This product worked OK, perhaps weakly, for one week, sporadically for the next week, then not at all. I downloaded the troubleshooting PDF and followed the directions 3 times to no avail. Several calls to their customer service department yielded no satisfactory results. I was told I would have to buy a new pump. This was suggested without even knowing that it was the pump that was the problem.

I sent back the kit and it was refused.

This company has basically no returns policy and no apparent interest in customer satisfaction.

They state on a Stop sticker that following the troubleshooting guidelines will prevent the hassle of contacting the manufacture. [sic]. Customer satisfaction should not have to be a hassle and accountability is the mark of a respectable business. This company is truly a ripoff and I'm out $90.
