Going through this company was a huge mistake on my part! I have nothing but trouble from them since I bought my car on June 3, 2006.. it is now January 18, 2007!

I take my car in to get it fixed every other week because they do not properly do the job or they put defective parts on my car. What company has to replace a transmission 3 times, a clotch 2 times in a matter of a month!

And since when does a person have to rotate their tires 2 times in 3 months when they didnt even go 1,000 miles! This car is a lemon.. had I known the Extended Warenty I purchased wasn't a factory warenty I wouldn't have spent $1,273 on it.

There is plenty more about my car to write about.

Dear John:

In response to complaint E-000209-2007, Karleen , here is an explanation of circumstances. The vehicle was first in our repair facility on June 3, 2006 for a check engine light on and right rear seat belt that would not retract. Simmons Rockwell at no charge to the customer replaced a throttle position sensor for the check engine light and a right rear seatbelt. Mileage at this time of repair was 96,522. Also at the same visit Ms. Slusser had a complaint with the cd player not working properly. Simmons Rockwell verified the concern however the cd player was not a covered component under the limited used car warranty. The customer elected to install an after market radio on their own.

On August 23, 2006 Ms. Slussers vehicle was towed to our repair facility because it would not move. Upon arrival the tow truck driver stated to our service personnel that when he pulled up to where the car was, that a young male was attempting to drive the vehicle and was peeling out. Upon our inspection we found rubber from the front tires on the inside front fender wells. We also found an internal transmission spider gear had broken through the transmission case. The clutch was burned up and the flywheel was scored. The after market warranty company (V.S.P.) covered the transmission repair but would not cover the clutch replacement, flywheel resurfacing, tire replacement, or alignment. Ms. Slusser agreed to pay for the remaining repair which was $751.59 plus tax. Mileage at this time of repair was 103,899

On September 11,2006 Ms. Slusser returned to our repair facility with a complaint that the vehicle had no reverse gear and that the transmission popped out of gears. Upon inspection we found the shift detent out of position. We also noted that the vehicle has been damaged the front and rear bumpers were not secure to the vehicle. At no charge to the customer our repair facility repositioned the shift detent.

On October 23, 2006 Ms. Slusser returned to our repair facility with a complaint that the transmission was noisy. Upon inspection we found an internal bearing noisy. At no charge to the customer the supplier of the first transmission warrantied the transmission and supplied

us with another used assembly. We installed the used transmission. Mileage at this time of repair was 110,700.

On January 17, 2006 Ms. Slusser returned to our repair facility with a complaint of tires being worn and turn signals not working properly. Upon inspection we found tires on front were bald and the rears were almost brand new and that the hazard switch was partially plugged in. When speaking with Ms. Slusser about repairs that were needed she admitted that no rotations or maintenance had been performed to vehicle since the tires were installed back in August when it had 103,899 miles. Ms. Slusser agreed to have the hazard switch repaired but did not want anything done with the tires. At this time of repair was 116,004.

We Simmons Rockwell as a dealership feel that Ms. Slussers vehicle is not properly maintained. We also feel as a dealership that we have gone above and beyond our responsibilities to help Ms. Slusser out. I hope this letter will help in resolving this complaint.

Very Truly Yours,
John Delanoy
